Description   The stock Toyota mounts are adequate for a stock power street car and are designed to isolate the occupants from vibration. However, soft motor mounts aren't good when the power goes up or the driving gets aggressive. The engine flopping around upsets the balance of the car at the limit. With bigger power, the soft stock mounts aren't up to the task of controlling the extra torque. We don't recommend replacing the side mounts, just the rear and in some cases the front as well. These 2 mounts control the rotation of the engine. We've used these poly mounts for years on our XP and Optima shop cars with great results and only a modest increase in vibration.
