Description
 
We developed the highly popular 32mm F1 Radiator. Which is the highest performance radiator available for the Lotus......Until now.

The original F1 radiator used a very dense 32mm thin core with very tight tube spacing. This makes the radiator far more efficient AND lighter. Saving both weight and aluminum. We use it on our cars. Then we started asking could it be made to cool better regardless of weight.

We set 1 parameter: If we aren't looking to save weight but want to stay with in the stock size envelope, what is the best we can do?

The answer: The UBER F1.

We kept the same tight tube spacing but we used a wider core at 42mm vs 32mm. We opened up the fin spacing slightly to allow more flow through the thicker core. The tubes are dimpled to add to the surface area. The result is a bolt-in radiator with 10-15% MORE overhead than the best radiator available, our current F1.

Remember, the thermostat controls the flow to the radiator so your car will warm up the same and it will not over-cool. What it will do is hold closer to the thermostat temperature AND cool down faster after wide-open running. Of course it will support over 400+ WHP.

Single vs Triple Pass: There is really only one answer on Elise/Exige in the stock form factor, single pass.
When the radiator is broken up into 3 channels for triple pass it is just to restrictive and it gets worse with RPM! The water pump cavitates and cavitation also happens in the radiator as the water velocity is 3 times higher through the tubes on the radiator. This creates air bubbles and foaming that reduces heat transfer everywhere in the system.
